Before we touch on any of the reasons as to why PPC Advertising is better for almost any kind of online marketing campaign than SEO, let us just say that SEO is not a complete waste of time. Our intention is not to bad mouth SEO.
SEO can be very effective, particularly when used in conjunction with PPC Advertising Campaigns, and this is not something that we are trying to refute entirely.
However, in our experience, PPC Advertising is better than SEO if you are looking for online marketing results and you want them fast. If speed and profit are the top two aims of your online marketing strategy, PPC is always going to be the best form of online advertising. SEO is always going to be running up behind.
Because SEO takes longer, you have less control over your audience, less control over who you compete with and less control over where your audience navigates to when they go to your site. With SEO you have to cover everything! You have to account for all possible events and this is, quite simply, a huge amount of work. (more…)
Whether you’re in the process of creating a new product or trying to find a tagline for you next big marketing campaign, testing the waters is a pivotal step. After all, you wouldn’t want to shell out thousands of dollars on developing a product or campaign only to find out that people don’t have a need for it.
There a number of market research methods that you can use to assess the market validity of your prospective product. Common practices include conducting focus groups, surveys, or in-depth interviews to test ideas. However, while the above-mentioned tactics are effective in gathering data, they can often be time consuming, not to mention expensive.
If you’re someone who doesn’t have the time or budget to conduct elaborate studies, then consider using PPC advertising as your market research tool. Not only is it easy to set up, it’s also very cost-effective, because you’ll be able to control how much you spend on your campaigns.
On to PPC market research
Tim Ferriss, author of the best-selling book The 4 Hour Workweek, was one of the first people to popularize the use of PPC for market research. According to him, when he was choosing the title for his book, he decided to use Google AdWords to A/B test various titles. He created several text ads with different headlines and tracked the CTR of each ad. In the end, the ad with the headline “The 4 Hour Workweek” received the most clicks, and that’s how it ended up being the title of his best-seller. (more…)

For the first time in history, China looks set to overtake the US in the next five years as the world’s largest economy. Yet Online Advertising is thriving and Pay Per Click Advertising has never been more affordable.
While many economies have managed to come out of the other side of the Global Financial Crisis relatively unscathed, the US still finds itself in the midst of an economic slump. The Australian dollar is now worth more than the US dollar despite being at 50 cents to the dollar just a couple of years ago, and is still climbing.
So why is it that Online Advertising is still doing so well?
Small businesses in particular have had to cut down on their advertising spending in the midst of the economic downturn. Many small businesses have been forced to tighten their expenses and develop strategies for lowering advertising costs.
The high costs of traditional advertising are now too much for many smaller companies. But with affordable pay per click advertising, businesses can still continue to soar.
The impact of Pay Per Click Advertising on advertising spending is something that many businesses involved in Pay Per Click still marvel at. The return of investment through a quality but affordable pay per click advertising campaigns can now be increased in no time with the right help.
When compared with print, broadcast or even other forms of online advertising, Pay Per Click is by far the most cost-effective.
By developing a focused pay per click strategy, the benefits of affordable Pay Per Click Advertising can be incredibly rewarding. And when you decide to go with a dependable PPC management firm, your ROI will speak for itself.
The reason why affordable Pay Per Click Advertising works so well is that it puts your product or service right in front of the eyes of your potential buyers. Pay Per Click Advertising works by aiming your products at the people who are already interested in what you’re selling.
Because of this, Pay Per Click Advertising becomes even more affordable. It is able to cut out the masses and focus on buyers. Traditional advertising, on the other hand, is designed to reach as many people as possible with the hope that a few will purchase, which is why it ends up being so expensive.
By narrowly focusing your affordable Pay Per Click Advertising campaigns on the people more likely to buy your products or seek your services, you will find that you’re making more conversions and spending less on marketing.
Through the help of a Pay Per Click Management expert, you can tightly focus those campaigns and have more success at turning clicks into conversions. And by having those experts manage your Pay Per Click Advertising campaigns, you are likely to bring in more return than you might have expected.
So go with the experts in affordable Pay Per Click Advertising, Webrageous Studios. We’ll have your ROI increasing so fast you’ll wonder why you ever stuck with traditional advertising.

AdWords Management is a science, right?
Wait, no! AdWords Management is an art. Yes, it is an art. Or maybe it is a science? Mmmmm… What do you think?
The “AdWords Management: Science or Art” debate might actually be worthy of sitting alongside epic world debates including how the world was made (Big Bang Theory or Godly Creation) and Darwin’s Theory of Evolution versus anything remotely religious, for example. Well, OK, maybe not. Maybe that is going a little bit too far, even for those people who eat, sleep and dream AdWords Management. However, the point is still very clear.
Whether AdWords Management is a science or an art is similar to the chicken and the egg story. The crux of what it actually means to be PPC savvy lies in the notion of whether AdWords Management is scientific or creative.
There are many reasons to suggest that it is both, although what an easy conclusion to come to that would be. What a cop out, to be honest. No. In this post, there will be no such sweeping statements, no such get out of jail free cards thrown down on the table. Webrageous Studios believes that it does have a solid response to the question posed, but is equally as interested in hearing the ideas of other experienced PPC Managers or avid internet geeks who have stumbled across this post by chance and feel like contributing their ideas to the discussion in some way.
A clear and concise article which discusses in depth whether AdWords Management is an art or a science is available to read on the Webrageous Studios website. The debate is one of such interest that it is deserving of a full length analysis and cannot be covered effectively in this short blog post. Visit the website to read through the debate in full.
However, as a sneaky insider peek into the article, it is fair to say that the daily approach and requirements behind the work of a PPC Account Manager in AdWords Management is most definitely scientific. PPC Account Managers must work scientifically on a daily basis because the Internet and Google’s highly extensive AdWords System demands that this is what they do.
What is important in this debate though is the human element (which does exist!) behind a PPC campaign, and therefore behind anything AdWords Management related. It is this human element (read the article for more explanation) that forces the debate between science and art into action. Human interest is attracted to artistry and creative flair. Robots are scientific. People are not. In essence, this is one line of argument that the full article begins to explore and one which Webrageous Studios considers to be of interest.
Follow the links to the full length article found on the company’s website and take the time to find out whether AdWords Management, in the eyes of Webrageous Studios, is an art or a science. If you are then feeling particularly communicative (and we do hope that you are!) send us your thoughts on the matter.
Being a top notch AdWords account manager is a hard job sometimes. It may not seem very stressful to people outside of the profession, but in reality it can get really, really stressful at times. Lots of people who have never worked in PPC Management make comments like, “Yeah, but you get to work at home. You get up when you want, you don’t have to leave the house if you don’t want to and you don’t have all those stresses of public transport to get to work every day.”
While all that may be true (for those that work at home anyway), the reality of a day in the life of a PPC account manager s just a little less rosy than the above picture would like to paint. For a start, working at home is not without its issues. It is very easy to go a little mad, living, working and sleeping in the same space day in, day out. It is also very difficult to maintain a real grip over when the working day begins and when it ends. Many account managers are till working away way into the night and then they roll over in the morning to hit the “on” button on the laptop that they left on the side of their pillow only a couple of hours beforehand.
Therefore, in celebration of the fact that most adwords account managers are, by default, slightly mad, the following little list hopes to reveal the true horror of a life in PPC Management. It is a list full of things that every Google Advertising Professional hopes will never happen to him / her, but that they worry about constantly. Hopefully the list will equally inform, amuse, lament and give cheers to all that it means to be a Google Advertising Professional who just can’t stop worrying… (more…)
