July 30th, 2010

The best thing to do is to follow the rules and avoid getting banned by Google in the first place.

Generally speaking, the reasons why a PPC Advertiser finds themselves banned from using Google AdWords are normally pretty standard. If you follow the rules and abide by the Google TOS (terms of service), you shouldn’t expect to encounter any problems. Read the rest of this entry »

David Chapman is NOT related to Anna Chapman, Russian Spy!

July 26th, 2010

11 Russians spies and their various operations, in something amazingly fit for the likes of a gripping 007 novel, were uncovered in The States only a few days ago. Amongst the 11 strong informants was the red-haired beauty, worthy of a front-page spot in Vogue Magazine, Anna Chapman.

The 28 year old divorcee, who had a successful online real-estate business in Manhatten and who lived in a top notch apartment in New York´s Financial District, had been passing information to her contact in the Russian government since January, so sources are suggesting.

What we would like to make fundamentally clear is that Webrageous Studios´ chairman, David Chapman, though blessed with both the same surname and a mass of strikingly gorgeous red locks, just like the Russian beauty, has never worked in secret for the Russian government and has absolutely no intention of doing so in the future either.

The two photographs below of David Chapman, Webrageous Studios´ chariman, and Anna Chapman, Russian spy, do suggest a number of possible DNA similarities in that both Chapmans are incredibly good looking! Read the rest of this entry »

How to Avoid a Google AdWords Ban

July 22nd, 2010

In recent weeks there has been a lot of traffic and internet activity concerning the subject of Google AdWords Bans, what to do when you receive one and why you might have received one in the first place. It appears that at present some internet users are either consciously or unconsciously doing things with their AdWords accounts that directly violate the Google TOS (terms of service).

The result is that an increased percentage of AdWords account holders have received a Google AdWords Ban in recent months. But exactly what does this mean?

When Google suspends your AdWords account the decision can be difficult to reverse. Google AdWords Suspensions are not simple bans issued to a few internet users who have been told that they cannot run a particular campaign ever again. Nor are they simple bans that prevent the internet user from advertising on Google via that particular AdWords account again either. A Google AdWords Ban is not always, but can sometimes be a little more complex than this. Read the rest of this entry »

Create Keywords Using Website Content

July 21st, 2010

Certainly, yes, it cannot be denied that the various tools and programs available, including the AdWords Keyword Tool for example, are excellent ways of generating huge lists of keywords that can be used in order to create successful Search Network PPC Campaigns. However, what ever happened to the notion of actually beginning by looking at the content that already exists on the website? Logic dictates that if you want to draw traffic to a website, then the best place to begin working and the place that you need to know inside and out is that website. This includes a knowledge of the content of the website too and therefore there is no reason why the content of that website cannot begin to actively work for you to improve a campaign’s success.

The website is one of the best places to begin looking for keyword ideas when building the various different ad groups within your PPC campaign because the structure for those ad groups already exists in the website structure.

Consider this example… Read the rest of this entry »

Why Are My Social Networking Efforts Not Working?

July 19th, 2010

It is now almost impossible to run a business without being connected in some way to social media networks. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and the like are excellent and necessary forums for promoting your business, driving traffic to your website and creating a brand that your target audience will gradually become familiar with and learn to trust.

Twitter is an excellent social network forum because the structure of the site means that people can only post very short pieces of information at a time which is an excellent way of tapping into the mindset of the average internet user. Twitter also has a very accessible API which means that there are a number of different features, programs and tools that have been created for Twitterers. Therefore the possibilities that exist for online networking through this site are infinite.

However, tweeting a thought on Twitter, creating an account on LinkedIn or developing a Business Page on Facebook is one thing. Making them work for you is another thing entirely. There are huge volumes of social network accounts, pages and profiles floating around on the Internet that are almost if not completely useless to their creators. This is because, as well as uploading content onto these sites you must be aware of the kind of style necessary to generate a buzz. Read the rest of this entry »
